1717 SYNOPSIS:
1818 Under existing law, termination dates are
1919 established for enumerated state agencies. The agencies
2020 are periodically reviewed by the Alabama Sunset
2121 Committee. After the review process is completed, the
2222 committee prepares its recommendation for the agencies
2323 to the Legislature in the form of sunset bills which
2424 either continue, terminate, or continue with
2525 modification each agency reviewed.
2626 This bill would provide for the continuance of
2727 the Alabama Professional Bail Bonding Board until
2828 October 1, 2027.

3131 AN ACT
3232 Relating to the Alabama Sunset Law; to continue the
3333 existence and functioning of the Alabama Professional Bail
3434 Bonding Board until October 1, 2027.
3535 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA:
3636 Section 1. Pursuant to the Alabama Sunset Law, the
3737 Sunset Committee recommends the continuance of the Alabama
3838 Professional Bail Bonding Board until October 1, 2027.

6868 Professional Bail Bonding Board until October 1, 2027.
6969 Section 2. The existence and functioning of the Alabama
7070 Professional Bail Bonding Board, created and functioning
7171 pursuant to Sections 15-13-200 to 15-13-219, inclusive, Code
7272 of Alabama 1975, is continued until October 1, 2027, and those
7373 code sections are expressly preserved.
7474 Section 3. The Legislature concurs in the
7575 recommendations of the Sunset Committee as provided in
7676 Sections 1 and 2.
7777 Section 4. This act shall become effective June 1,
7878 2025.
