	17	+	SYNOPSIS:
	18	+	Under existing law, termination dates are
	19	+	established for enumerated state agencies. The agencies
	20	+	are periodically reviewed by the Alabama Sunset
	21	+	Committee. After the review process is completed, the
	22	+	committee prepares its recommendation for the agencies
	23	+	to the Legislature in the form of sunset bills which
	24	+	either continue, terminate, or continue with
	25	+	modification each agency reviewed.
	26	+	This bill would provide for the continuance of
	27	+	the Alabama Board for Registered Interior Designers
	28	+	until October 1, 2029.
	29	+	A BILL
	30	+	TO BE ENTITLED
	31	+	AN ACT
18	32		Relating to the Alabama Sunset Law; to continue the
19	33		existence and functioning of the Alabama Board for Registered
20	34		Interior Designers until October 1, 2029.
21	35		BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA:
22	36		Section 1. Pursuant to the Alabama Sunset Law, the
23	37		Sunset Committee recommends the continuance of the Alabama
24	38		Board for Registered Interior Designers until October 1, 2029.
25		-	Section 2. The existence and functioning of the Alabama
26		-	Board for Registered Interior Designers, created and
27		-	functioning pursuant to Sections 34-15C-1 to 34-15C-19,
28		-	inclusive, Code of Alabama 1975, is continued until October 1,
29		-	2029, and those code sections are expressly preserved.
30		-	Section 3. The Legislature concurs in the
31		-	recommendations of the Sunset Committee as provided in
32		-	Sections 1 and 2.
33		-	Section 4. This act shall become effective June 1,
34		-	2025.
