17+SYNOPSIS:
18+Under existing law, termination dates are
19+established for enumerated state agencies. The agencies
20+are periodically reviewed by the Alabama Sunset
21+Committee. After the review process is completed, the
22+committee prepares its recommendation for the agencies
23+to the Legislature in the form of sunset bills which
24+either continue, terminate, or continue with
25+modification each agency reviewed.
26+This bill would provide for the continuance of
27+the Alabama Board for Registered Interior Designers
28+until October 1, 2029.

30+TO BE ENTITLED
31+AN ACT
1832 Relating to the Alabama Sunset Law; to continue the
1933 existence and functioning of the Alabama Board for Registered
2034 Interior Designers until October 1, 2029.
2135 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA:
2236 Section 1. Pursuant to the Alabama Sunset Law, the
2337 Sunset Committee recommends the continuance of the Alabama
2438 Board for Registered Interior Designers until October 1, 2029.
25-Section 2. The existence and functioning of the Alabama
26-Board for Registered Interior Designers, created and
27-functioning pursuant to Sections 34-15C-1 to 34-15C-19,
28-inclusive, Code of Alabama 1975, is continued until October 1,
29-2029, and those code sections are expressly preserved.
30-Section 3. The Legislature concurs in the
31-recommendations of the Sunset Committee as provided in
32-Sections 1 and 2.
33-Section 4. This act shall become effective June 1,
34-2025.
