	17	+	SYNOPSIS:
	18	+	Under existing law, termination dates are
	19	+	established for enumerated state agencies. The agencies
	20	+	are periodically reviewed by the Alabama Sunset
	21	+	Committee. After the review process is completed, the
	22	+	committee prepares its recommendation for the agencies
	23	+	to the Legislature in the form of sunset bills which
	24	+	either continue, terminate, or continue with
	25	+	modification each agency reviewed.
	26	+	This bill would provide for the continuance of
	27	+	the Board of Physical Therapy until October 1, 2029.
	28	+	A BILL
	29	+	TO BE ENTITLED
	30	+	AN ACT
18	31		Relating to the Alabama Sunset Law; to continue the
19	32		existence and functioning of the Board of Physical Therapy
20	33		until October 1, 2029.
21	34		BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA:
22	35		Section 1. Pursuant to the Alabama Sunset Law, the
23	36		Sunset Committee recommends the continuance of the Board of
24	37		Physical Therapy until October 1, 2029.
25	38		Section 2. The existence and functioning of the Board
26		-	of Physical Therapy, created and functioning pursuant to
27		-	Sections 34-24-190 to 34-24-217, inclusive, Code of Alabama
28		-	1975, is continued until October 1, 2029, and those code
29		-	sections are expressly preserved.
30		-	Section 3. The Legislature concurs in the
31		-	recommendations of the Sunset Committee as provided in
32		-	Sections 1 and 2.
33		-	Section 4. This act shall become effective June 1,
34		-	2025.
