1717 SYNOPSIS:
1818 Under existing law, termination dates are
1919 established for enumerated state agencies. The agencies
2020 are periodically reviewed by the Alabama Sunset
2121 Committee. After the review process is completed, the
2222 committee prepares its recommendation for the agencies
2323 to the Legislature in the form of sunset bills which
2424 either continue, terminate, or continue with
2525 modification each agency reviewed.
2626 This bill would provide for the continuance of
2727 the Alabama State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners
2828 until October 1, 2027.

3131 AN ACT
3232 Relating to the Alabama Sunset Law; to continue the
3333 existence and functioning of the Alabama State Board of
3434 Veterinary Medical Examiners until October 1, 2027.
3535 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA:
3636 Section 1. Pursuant to the Alabama Sunset Law, the
3737 Sunset Committee recommends the continuance of the Alabama
3838 State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners until October 1,

6868 State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners until October 1,
6969 2027.
7070 Section 2. The existence and functioning of the Alabama
7171 State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners , created and
7272 functioning pursuant to Sections 34-29-60 to 34-29-135,
7373 inclusive, Code of Alabama 1975, is continued until October 1,
7474 2027, and those code sections are expressly preserved.
7575 Section 3. The Legislature concurs in the
7676 recommendations of the Sunset Committee as provided in
7777 Sections 1 and 2.
7878 Section 4. This act shall become effective June 1,
7979 2025.
