18 | 18 | | Under existing law, any person who solicits or |

19 | 19 | | aids in the disposition or attempted disposition of a |

20 | 20 | | uniform traffic ticket and complaint in any |

21 | 21 | | unauthorized manner is subject to the criminal contempt |

24 | 24 | | not apply to the law enforcement officer who issued the |
---|
25 | 25 | | uniform traffic ticket and complaint. |

30 | 30 | | 12-12-56, Code of Alabama 1975, to provide that the |

31 | 31 | | prohibition regarding soliciting or aiding in the disposition |

32 | 32 | | of a uniform traffic ticket and complaint in an unauthorized |

33 | 33 | | manner does not apply to the issuing law enforcement officer. |

34 | 34 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA: |

35 | 35 | | Section 1. Section 12-12-56, Code of Alabama 1975, is |
---|
36 | 36 | | amended to read as follows: |

73 | 73 | | subsectionarticle. |

74 | 74 | | (b) Any person, other than the issuing law enforcement |

75 | 75 | | officer, who solicits or aids in the disposition or attempted |
---|
76 | 76 | | disposition of a uniform traffic ticket and complaint , or any |
---|

---|
