| 21 | 21 | | unauthorized manner is subject to the criminal contempt |

| 23 | 23 | | This bill would provide that this provision does |

| 24 | 24 | | not apply to the law enforcement officer who issued the |

| 25 | 25 | | uniform traffic ticket and complaint. |

| 31 | 31 | | prohibition regarding soliciting or aiding in the disposition |

| 32 | 32 | | of a uniform traffic ticket and complaint in an unauthorized |

| 33 | 33 | | manner does not apply to the issuing law enforcement officer. |

| 34 | 34 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA: |

| 35 | 35 | | Section 1. Section 12-12-56, Code of Alabama 1975, is |

| 74 | 74 | | (b) Any person, other than the issuing law enforcement |

| 75 | 75 | | officer, who solicits or aids in the disposition or attempted |
|---|
| 76 | 76 | | disposition of a uniform traffic ticket and complaint , or any |
|---|
