15+SYNOPSIS:
16+This bill makes supplemental appropriations for
17+the fiscal year ending September 30, 2025: from Alabama
18+State Board of Public Accountancy Fund to the Alabama
19+State Board of Public Accountancy in the amount of
20+$100,000; from Court Automation Fund to the Unified
21+Judicial System in the amount of $12,789,146; from
22+Advanced Technology and Data Exchange Fund to the
23+Unified Judicial System in the amount of $7,656,820;
24+and amends Act 2024-355, the General Fund Appropriation
25+Bill for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2025, to
26+increase the amount appropriated to the Alabama
27+Department of Transportation for paying the principal
28+of and interest on bonds issued for the purposes of
29+public highways and bridges .

1833 To make supplemental appropriations for the fiscal year
1934 ending September 30, 2025: from Alabama State Board of Public
2035 Accountancy Fund to the Alabama State Board of Public
2136 Accountancy in the amount of $100,000; from Court Automation
22-Fund to the Unified Judicial System in the amount of
23-$8,017,325; from Advanced Technology and Data Exchange Fund to
24-the Unified Judicial System in the amount of $4,588,740; and
25-to amend Act 2024-355, the General Fund Appropriation Bill for
26-the fiscal year ending September 30, 2025, to increase the
27-amount appropriated to the Alabama Department of
28-Transportation for paying the principal of and interest on
29-bonds issued for the purposes of public highways and bridges.
30-BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA:
31-Section 1. In addition to all other appropriations
32-heretofore and hereafter made, there is hereby appropriated
33-$100,000 from Alabama State Board of Public Accountancy Fund
34-to the Alabama State Board of Public Accountancy for the
35-fiscal year ending September 30, 2025.
36-Section 2. In addition to all other appropriations
37-heretofore and hereafter made, there is hereby appropriated
38-$8,017,325 from Court Automation Fund to the Unified Judicial

75+BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA:

70-Notwithstanding any law to the contrary, the funds
71-appropriated under this section may be spent on salaries and
72-personnel costs and for other general operations of the
73-Unified Judicial System.

7586 heretofore and hereafter made, there is hereby appropriated
76-$4,588,740 from Advanced Technology and Data Exchange Fund to

89-either, by the State of Alabama, Alabama Federal Aid Highway
90-Finance Authority, Alabama Highway Finance Corporation, or
91-Alabama Industrial Access Road and Bridge Corporation, a total
92-of $113,253,921 $126,253,921 or so much thereof as may be
93-necessary for payment of said principal and interest at their
94-respective maturities, of the revenues pledged for such
95-payment. There is also hereby appropriated an amount not to
96-exceed $25,000,000 as an annual contribution to the Alabama

124+There is hereby appropriated for payment of the
125+principal of and the interest on all bonds heretofore or
126+hereafter issued for public highways and bridge purposes, or
127+either, by the State of Alabama, Alabama Federal Aid Highway
128+Finance Authority, Alabama Highway Finance Corporation, or
129+Alabama Industrial Access Road and Bridge Corporation, a total

128136 debt service. The Director of Transportation, with the consent
129137 of the Governor and the Director of Finance, shall have the
130138 authority to transfer any appropriation or any portion thereof
131139 between and among subdivisions (a), (b) and (c) of this
132140 section whenever such transfer shall be necessary to assure
133141 maximum utilization of federal matching funds which shall
134142 become available. In the event that there shall not be
135143 sufficient funds available for payment of all appropriations
136144 hereinabove made, the following provisions shall be
137145 applicable. In the event of such insufficiency in respect of
138146 said revenues accruing to the Department of Transportation:
139147 (1) the appropriation made for Debt Service in subdivisions
140148 (a) and (b) hereof shall be paid in full, and (2) the
141149 appropriations from the revenues accruing to the Department of
142150 Transportation that are herein made for the purposes referred
143151 to in subdivisions (a), (b) and (c) except for Debt Service,
144152 hereof shall be allocated among the purposes referred to in
145-said subdivisions in such order and with such priorities as
146-the Director of the Department of Transportation shall from
147-time to time direct. The funds appropriated in subdivisions
148-(a) and (c) hereof, for the matching federal funds, shall not
149-revert at the end of the fiscal year for which such
150-appropriations are made but shall remain available for the
151-purposes for which such appropriations were made. In addition
152-to all appropriations hereinabove made, there is hereby
153-appropriated to the Department of Transportation all federal
154-funds accruing thereto to be expended only for the purpose for
