18	18	To alter and rearrange the boundary lines and
19	19	corporate limits of the City of Childersburg in and the Town
20	20	of Bon Air in Talladega County to remove certain property from
21	21	the corporate limits of the Town of Bon Air and add the
22	22	property to the City of Childersburg.
23	23	BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA:
24	24	Section 1. The boundary lines and corporate limits of
25	25	the City of Childersburg and the Town of Bon Air in Talladega
26	26	County are altered and rearranged to remove from the corporate
27	27	limits of the Town of Bon Air all of the following territory
28	28	and to add the territory to the City of Childersburg:
29	29	26.38 acre tract
30	30	Commence at a 1" pipe in place being the Southeast
31	31	corner of the Northeast one-fourth of the Southeast one-fourth
32	32	of Section 29, Township 20 South, Range 3 East, Talladega
33	33	County, Alabama; thence proceed South 00° 56' 10" West along
34	34	the West boundary of the Southwest one-fourth of the Southwest
35	35	one-fourth for a distance of 230.62 feet to a railroad rail in
36	36	place thence proceed North 59° 37' 32" East for a distance of
37	37	343.65 feet to a 5/8" capped rebar in place (Bailey), proceed
38	38	North 59° 22' 17" East for a distance of 299.99 feet; thence
39	39	proceed North 30° 40' 22" West for a distance of 725.99 feet

83	83	a radius of 2472.99 feet for a chord bearing and distance of
84	84	North 48° 45' 53" east, 346.30 feet to a ½" rebar in place;

142	142	Township 20 South, Range 3 East, Talladega County, Alabama and
143	143	contains 26.38 acres.
144	144	Section 2. In accordance with Section 11-42-6 of the
145	145	Code of Alabama 1975, a map showing the proposed territory to
146	146	be removed from the Town of Bon Air and added to the City of
147	147	Childersburg is on file and open to public inspection in the
148	148	Office of the Judge of Probate in Talladega County.
149	149	Section 3. This act shall become effective on October
150	150	1, 2025.
