16+Under existing law, the Board of Pardons and

1826 Relating to pardons and paroles; to add Section
1927 15-22-26.3 to the Code of Alabama 1975, to authorize the Board

2331 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA:
2432 Section 1. Section 15-22-26.3 is added to the Code of
2533 Alabama 1975, to read as follows:
2634 ยง15-22-26.3
27-(a) During an active investigation, a law enforcement
28-agency may request the Board of Pardons and Paroles for
29-probative electronic monitoring GPS data and relevant
30-biometric data pertaining to the investigation.
31-(b) The Board of Pardons and Paroles may share the
32-requested electronic monitoring GPS data and relevant
33-biometric data pursuant to subsection (a).
34-Section 2. This act shall become effective on October
35-1, 2025.
35+(a) During an active investigation, a local law
36+enforcement agency may request the Board of Pardons and
