SYNOPSIS:
Under existing law, the Alabama Uniform Minimum
Wage and Right-to-Work Act authorizes the Legislature
to regulate collective bargaining under federal labor
laws as well as wages, leave, and other employment
benefits paid by employers.
This bill would repeal the Alabama Uniform
Minimum Wage and Right-to-Work Act. 
A BILL
TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
Relating to labor and employment; to repeal the Alabama
Uniform Minimum Wage and Right-to-Work Act, Article 2A,
Chapter 7, Title 25, comprised of Sections 25-7-40 through
25-7-45, Code of Alabama 1975.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA:
Section 1. Article 2A, Chapter 7, Title 25, comprised
of Sections 25-7-40 through 25-7-45, Code of Alabama 1975, the
Alabama Uniform Minimum Wage and Right-to-Work Act, is
repealed. 
Section 2. This act shall become effective on October
1, 2025.
