29 | 29 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA: | |
30 | 30 | Section 1. (a) The Greater Peace Community Development | |
31 | 31 | Corporation is exempt from paying the state portion of any | |
32 | 32 | sales and use taxes. | |
33 | 33 | (b) The exemption provided in this section shall not | |
34 | 34 | apply to county or municipal sales or use taxes unless | |
35 | 35 | approved by resolution or ordinance adopted by the local | |
36 | 36 | governing body. | |
