28 | 28 | | Relating to consumer protection; to amend Section |

29 | 29 | | 8-31-3, Code of Alabama 1975; to further provide for the |

30 | 30 | | prohibition of unconscionable prices during a declared |
---|
31 | 31 | | emergency. |

32 | 32 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA: |

33 | 33 | | Section 1. Section 8-31-3, Code of Alabama 1975, is |
---|
34 | 34 | | amended to read as follows: |

36 | 36 | | It is unlawful and a violation of Section 8-19-5 , for |

37 | 37 | | any person or entity to impose unconscionable prices for the |
