1515 SYNOPSIS:
1616 This bill would exempt Kidz Eatz, Incorporated,
1717 from the payment of state sales and use taxes and would
1818 provide for municipalities and counties to exempt this
1919 entity from local sales and use taxes.

2323 Relating to sales and use taxes; to exempt Kidz Eatz,
2424 Incorporated, from payment of state sales and use taxes; and
2525 to provide for counties and municipalities to exempt Kidz Eatz
2626 from the payment of county and municipal sales and use taxes.
2727 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA:
2828 Section 1. (a) Kidz Eatz, Incorporated, is exempt from
2929 paying any state sales and use taxes.
3030 (b) The exemption provided for in this section shall
3131 not apply to county or municipal sales or use taxes unless
3232 approved by resolution or ordinance adopted by the local
3333 governing body.
3434 Section 2. This act shall become effective on September
3535 1, 2025.
