24 | 23 | | WHEREAS, he was held in high respect by past and |

25 | 24 | | present members of the Alabama Legislature for his |

26 | 25 | | friendliness, honesty, knowledge, and willingness to listen |

27 | 26 | | to all sides of issues with which he was involved, and |

28 | 27 | | whenever possible, he was willing to compromise to reach an |

29 | 28 | | agreement; and |

30 | 29 | | WHEREAS, Graham Champion's service to his clients and |

31 | 30 | | to members of the Alabama Legislature is well known and |

32 | 31 | | respected: his dedication and commitment to civic service is |

34 | 33 | | WHEREAS, Graham Champion was a devoted member of the |

35 | 34 | | Montgomery Rotary Club where he served as president; |

36 | 35 | | additionally, he served the Rotary Club as assistant |

37 | 36 | | district governor and district membership chair; and |

38 | 37 | | WHEREAS, he was recognized as a Paul Harris Fellow |

39 | 38 | | for his commitment and hard work to ensure that Tuskegee |

72 | 71 | | WHEREAS, Graham Champion earned the rank of Eagle |

74 | 73 | | scouting, serving as president of the Tukabatchee Area |

75 | 74 | | Council since 2022 and standing as a longtime member of the |

77 | 76 | | WHEREAS, he was recognized as the 2023 Outstanding |

78 | 77 | | Eagle Scout by the National Eagle Scout Association for his |
