1515 HR____ CELEBRATING THE LIFE AND MOURNING THE DEATH OF HENRY
1616 A. BARRON.
1717 WHEREAS, with an overwhelming sense of loss, we mourn
1818 the death, yet celebrate the life, of Henry A. Barron of
1919 Montgomery, Alabama, whose passing on February 28, 2025, has
2020 left a void in the lives of his loving family and friends
2121 and the entire community, where he was highly regarded ; and
2222 WHEREAS, Mr. Henry A. Barron was a man of great
2323 integrity, wisdom, and dedication, who devoted his life to
2424 the service of others through education, military service,
2525 and civic engagement; and
2626 WHEREAS, he was a distinguished scholar, earning a
2727 Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science from Alabama
2828 State University, as well as an Associate in Arts from
2929 Auburn University; and
3030 WHEREAS, he dedicated over three decades to shaping
3131 young minds and guiding future leaders as a teacher,
3232 football coach, and administrator in the field of education,
3333 serving at Eufaula High School, Elmore County High School,
3434 Millbrook Middle School, Holtville High School, and Stanhope
3535 Elmore High School, where he retired in 2007 as an assistant
3636 principal; and
3737 WHEREAS, Mr. Barron honorably served his country in
3838 the United States Army from 1968 to 1970, stationed in

6868 the United States Army from 1968 to 1970, stationed in
6969 Korea, and continued his service in the Army Reserve from
7070 1971 to 1997, where he was mobilized for Operation Desert
7171 Storm, retiring with the rank of E-8 Master Sergeant as an
7272 instructor for 92A (Unit Supply); and
7373 WHEREAS, he was a lifelong member of Alpha Phi Alpha
7474 Fraternity, Incorporated, dedicating over 50 years to the
7575 organization, holding numerous leadership roles, including
7676 Chapter President of Alpha Upsilon Lambda, Recording
7777 Secretary, Parliamentarian, and various leadership positions
7878 in the annual Martin Luther King Jr. Breakfast, where he
7979 served as Chair from 2015 to 2020; and
8080 WHEREAS, he was a faithful and devoted member of
8181 Hutchinson Missionary Baptist Church for 60 years, serving
8282 as a Deacon and working diligently to uplift his
8383 congregation and community; and
8484 WHEREAS, left to cherish his memory are his wife,
8585 Patricia C. Barron; children, Brent Barron and Brandon
8686 Barron; grandchildren, Aubrey Bradley, Rashad Barron, Brandi
8787 Barron, Kennedy Barron, and Joshua Sanders; brother, Abraham
8888 Barron; and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, and dear
8989 friends; and
9090 WHEREAS,a valued member of the community and loved
9191 by many, his service to others and his passion for life will
9292 be remembered fondly; we join with others to celebrate his
9393 life and to mourn his death; although his presence will be
9494 greatly missed, the memory of Mr. Barron will be c herished
9595 in the hearts of all who knew and loved him ; now therefore,

125125 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
126126 LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA, That the death of Mr. Henry A.
127127 Barron is recorded with deep sadness, and even as we mourn
128128 his death and the loss it represents, we also celebrate his
129129 life; this resolution is offered in highest tribute, along
130130 with heartfelt sympathy to his family, whose grief is shared
131131 by many.
