15	15	HR____ MOURNING THE DEATH OF MR. RODNEY RUDOLPH.
16	16	WHEREAS, with an overwhelming sense of loss, we mourn
17	17	the death, yet celebrate the life, of Mr. Rodney Rudolph of
18	18	Lowndes County, Alabama, whose passing on January 28, 2025,
19	19	has left a void in the lives of his loving family and
20	20	friends and the entire community, where he was highly
21	21	regarded; and
22	22	WHEREAS, Mr. Rudolph had faithfully served as the
23	23	Director of the Lowndes County Emergency Management Agency
24	24	(EMA) since 2021, where his leadership and expertise in
25	25	emergency response safeguarded the residents of Lowndes
26	26	County during natural disasters and crises; and
27	27	WHEREAS, Mr. Rudolph's commitment to public service
28	28	spanned decades, including his role as the President of the
29	29	Lowndes County Association of Volunteer Fire Departments and
30	30	his tenure as Director for District 10 of the Alabama
31	31	Association of Volunteer Fire Departments, where he worked
32	32	tirelessly to ensure that local fire departments were
33	33	equipped with the resources needed to protect the community;
34	34	and
35	35	WHEREAS, Mr. Rudolph was a dedicated advocate for
36	36	youth in athletics and education, serving as a long-time
37	37	assistant football coach and head softball coach at Central
38	38	High School, his alma mater, where he mentored and supported

68	68	High School, his alma mater, where he mentored and supported
69	69	countless students, leaving an indelible impact on the next
70	70	generation; and
71	71	WHEREAS, his unwavering faith, as demonstrated in his
72	72	words, "God gives me the strength to know what to do and to
73	73	get the job accomplished," guided him throughout his life
74	74	and service, inspiring those around him with his calm
75	75	demeanor and steadfast resolve during times of crisis; and
76	76	WHEREAS, Mr. Rudolph's dedication, compassion, and
77	77	love for his community were evident in every aspect of his
78	78	life, as described by friends, colleagues, and loved ones
79	79	who admired his commitment to going above and beyond to
80	80	serve others, even during his own personal health struggles;
81	81	and
82	82	WHEREAS, Mr. Rudolph will be remembered as a loving
83	83	son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather, as well as a
84	84	true pillar of the Lowndes County community, whose legacy of
85	85	service, mentorship, and leadership will continue to inspire
86	86	for generations to come; now therefore,
87	87	BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
88	88	LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA, That the death of Mr. Rodney Rudolph
89	89	is recorded with deep sadness, and even as we mourn his
90	90	death, we also celebrate his life; this resolution is
91	91	offered in highest tribute along with heartfelt sympathy to
92	92	his family, whose grief is shared by many.
