15	15	HR___ MOURNING THE DEATH OF STATE TROOPER JUSTIN WILLIAMS.
16	16	WHEREAS, it is with profound sorrow and a sense of
17	17	immense loss that news is received of the untimely death of
18	18	State Trooper Justin Williams of Montgomery , Alabama, at the
19	19	age of 42; and
20	20	WHEREAS, his passing leaves a void in the lives of
21	21	his loving family, many friends, and the community where he
22	22	was highly regarded; and
23	23	WHEREAS, an outstanding member of the community,
24	24	Justin Williams served selflessly as a state trooper for 19
25	25	years; and
26	26	WHEREAS, Justin graduated from Monroe County High
27	27	School and Alabama A&M University; he furthered his
28	28	education by attending the Alabama Criminal Justice Training
29	29	in Selma in 2006; he then attended Alabama Southern
30	30	Community College where he earned an Associate of Science
31	31	Degree in 2013 and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal
32	32	Justice in 2014; he also earned two Master of Science
33	33	Degrees in Justice Administration in 2017 and Management in
34	34	2020 from Faulkner University; and
35	35	WHEREAS, serving as a highly respected member of
36	36	Governor Kay Ivey's security detail since 2019, Justin
37	37	Williams consistently demonstrated exceptional
38	38	professionalism and unwavering dedication to his duties; his

69	69	commitment to excellence not only ensured the safety and
70	70	security of the Governor but also fostered a supportive work
71	71	environment among his colleagues, earning their trust and
72	72	admiration; he was known for his kindness, compassion, and
73	73	loyalty, and he set a shining example for all who knew him;
74	74	and
75	75	WHEREAS, Justin was preceded in death by his parents,
76	76	Donald Ray Williams and Gwendolyn Williams Kyles; he will be
77	77	lovingly remembered by his daughter, Ramey; brothers,
78	78	Christopher Williams (Heather) and Darius Williams; sisters,
79	79	Kenya Moore (Jerome), Terri Williams, Tabitha Malone
80	80	(JesHenry), and Ryann Morris (Kadarryl); and
81	81	WHEREAS, Justin Williams leaves behind a legacy of
82	82	honor and service which will long endure the passage of time
83	83	and will remain as a comforting memory to all who were
84	84	privileged to have known and loved such an amazing man; now
85	85	therefore,
86	86	BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
87	87	LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA, That the death of State Trooper
88	88	Justin Williams is recorded with deep sadness, and this
89	89	resolution is offered in tribute to his life and service to
90	90	others, along with heartfelt sympathy to his family, whose
91	91	grief is shared by many.
