15	15	HR____ COMMENDING KENDRA WILLIAMS ON ATTAINING THE RANK OF
16	16	EAGLE SCOUT.
17	17	WHEREAS, commendations and congratulations are herein
18	18	extended to Kendra Williams from Scout Troop 10G on
19	19	attaining the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest rank in
20	20	Scouts BSA; and
21	21	WHEREAS, the Eagle Scout Award, earned by only a
22	22	small percentage of Scouts, involves the completion of an
23	23	Eagle Scout Project and represents many years of diligence
24	24	in pursuit of a worthy goal that brings honor to the Scout,
25	25	the troop, and the Scout's family; and
26	26	WHEREAS, Scout Kendra Williams has demonstrated
27	27	exceptional commitment to these principles through her
28	28	diligent efforts and determination, culminating in the
29	29	attainment of the esteemed rank of Eagle Scout; and
30	30	WHEREAS, Scout Kendra Williams' Eagle Scout Project
31	31	involved leading a team of volunteers in assisting the
32	32	Jasper Area Family Services with landscaping and property
33	33	management projects at the newly renovated Head Start
34	34	building, formerly North Highlands School; her efforts
35	35	contributed to making the outside and inside of the facility
36	36	equally inviting for young children; and
37	37	WHEREAS, Scout Kendra Williams joined Troop 10G in
38	38	2019 and has earned 24 Merit Badges, including Citizenship

69	69	in the Community, Citizenship in the Nation, Citizenship in
70	70	Society, and Citizenship in the World; she has earned the
71	71	Polar Bear Patch twice for camping in less than 32 
72	72	Fahrenheit, and the NOVA Award, which is awarded to Scouts
73	73	for achieving excellence in the pursuit of STEM; and
74	74	WHEREAS, through the years, Scout Kendra Williams has
75	75	exhibited those hard-earned characteristics of
76	76	trustworthiness, self discipline, and good citizenship, all
77	77	components of the Scouts BSA program; with the guidance and
78	78	support of her Scout leaders, she has earned the esteem of
79	79	her community, fellow Scouts, and all Alabamians; now
80	80	therefore,
81	81	BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
82	82	LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA, That we extend our sincere
83	83	congratulations to Scout Kendra Williams and express our
84	84	deep appreciation for her outstanding service to the
85	85	community.
86	86	BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a copy of this
87	87	resolution be provided to Scout Kendra Williams as an
88	88	expression of our admiration for her accomplishments and our
89	89	best wishes for continued success in all her future
