1515 HR____ COMMENDING KENDRA WILLIAMS ON ATTAINING THE RANK OF
1616 EAGLE SCOUT.
1717 WHEREAS, commendations and congratulations are herein
1818 extended to Kendra Williams from Scout Troop 10G on
1919 attaining the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest rank in
2020 Scouts BSA; and
2121 WHEREAS, the Eagle Scout Award, earned by only a
2222 small percentage of Scouts, involves the completion of an
2323 Eagle Scout Project and represents many years of diligence
2424 in pursuit of a worthy goal that brings honor to the Scout,
2525 the troop, and the Scout's family; and
2626 WHEREAS, Scout Kendra Williams has demonstrated
2727 exceptional commitment to these principles through her
2828 diligent efforts and determination, culminating in the
2929 attainment of the esteemed rank of Eagle Scout; and
3030 WHEREAS, Scout Kendra Williams' Eagle Scout Project
3131 involved leading a team of volunteers in assisting the
3232 Jasper Area Family Services with landscaping and property
3333 management projects at the newly renovated Head Start
3434 building, formerly North Highlands School; her efforts
3535 contributed to making the outside and inside of the facility
3636 equally inviting for young children; and
3737 WHEREAS, Scout Kendra Williams joined Troop 10G in
3838 2019 and has earned 24 Merit Badges, including Citizenship

6868 2019 and has earned 24 Merit Badges, including Citizenship
6969 in the Community, Citizenship in the Nation, Citizenship in
7070 Society, and Citizenship in the World; she has earned the
7171 Polar Bear Patch twice for camping in less than 32 
7272 Fahrenheit, and the NOVA Award, which is awarded to Scouts
7373 for achieving excellence in the pursuit of STEM; and
7474 WHEREAS, through the years, Scout Kendra Williams has
7575 exhibited those hard-earned characteristics of
7676 trustworthiness, self discipline, and good citizenship, all
7777 components of the Scouts BSA program; with the guidance and
7878 support of her Scout leaders, she has earned the esteem of
7979 her community, fellow Scouts, and all Alabamians; now
8080 therefore,
8181 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
8282 LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA, That we extend our sincere
8383 congratulations to Scout Kendra Williams and express our
8484 deep appreciation for her outstanding service to the
8585 community.
8686 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a copy of this
8787 resolution be provided to Scout Kendra Williams as an
8888 expression of our admiration for her accomplishments and our
8989 best wishes for continued success in all her future
