15	15	HR____ COMMENDING SCOUT DAREON MAYNARD FOR ACHIEVING THE
16	16	RANK OF EAGLE SCOUT.
17	17	WHEREAS, the Alabama House of Representatives takes
18	18	great pride in acknowledging the accomplishments of
19	19	exceptional individuals who demonstrate leadership,
20	20	dedication, and a commitment to community service; and
21	21	WHEREAS, Scout Dareon Maynard of Daphne, Alabama, has
22	22	exhibited these commendable qualities, reaching the
23	23	prestigious rank of Eagle Scout through his unwavering
24	24	dedication and outstanding contributions to the community,
25	25	including participating in the Eastern Shore Chamber of
26	26	Commerce's Youth Leadership Program, winning a Rotary Youth
27	27	Leadership Award, serving as an Alabama House Page, and
28	28	being a stalwart member of the Daphne Junior City Council;
29	29	and
30	30	WHEREAS, the rank of Eagle Scout, earned by only a
31	31	small percentage of Scouts, involves the completion of an
32	32	Eagle Scout Project and represents many years of diligence
33	33	in pursuit of a worthy goal that brings honor to the Scout,
34	34	their family, and their troop; and
35	35	WHEREAS, Scout Dareon Maynard's Eagle Scout Project
36	36	involved the building and installation of a concrete chess
37	37	board and benches at Daphne East Elementary School, which
38	38	was an innovative and ambitious project for a young person

69	69	to undertake and complete; and
70	70	WHEREAS, the forward-thinking vision behind the
71	71	creation of this Eagle Scout project for the students at
72	72	Daphne Elementary will no doubt plant seeds of learning and
73	73	discovery for countless generations of future young people
74	74	and be a catalyst for learning decades into the future; and
75	75	WHEREAS, Scout Dareon Maynard's leadership, planning,
76	76	and execution were crucial in the success of this
77	77	significant educational and entertaining project, showcasing
78	78	his commitment to fostering making learning and knowledge
79	79	accessible and engaging; and
80	80	WHEREAS, the State of Alabama commends Scout Dareon
81	81	Maynard for his remarkable achievements and for embodying
82	82	the principles of Scouting America; now therefore,
83	83	BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
84	84	LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA, That we extend our sincere
85	85	congratulations to Scout Dareon Maynard for achieving the
86	86	rank of Eagle Scout and express our deep appreciation for
87	87	his outstanding service to the community through the
88	88	creation and placement of the concrete chess board and
89	89	benches at Daphne East Elementary School.
90	90	BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a copy of this
91	91	resolution be presented to Scout Dareon Maynard as a token
92	92	of our esteem for his accomplishments and our best wishes
93	93	for continued success in all his future endeavors.
