1826 Relating to pardons and paroles; to add Section
1927 15-22-26.3 to the Code of Alabama 1975, to authorize the Board

2231 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA:
2332 Section 1. Section 15-22-26.3 is added to the Code of
2433 Alabama 1975, to read as follows:
2534 ยง15-22-26.3
26-(a) During an active investigation, a law enforcement
27-agency may request the Board of Pardons and Paroles for
28-probative electronic monitoring GPS data pertaining to the
29-investigation.
30-(b) The Board of Pardons and Paroles may share the
31-requested electronic monitoring GPS data pursuant to
32-subsection (a).
33-Section 2. This act shall become effective on October
34-1, 2025.
35+(a) During an active investigation, a local law
36+enforcement agency may request the Board of Pardons and
