	17	+	AN ACT
16	18		Relating to Lauderdale County; to alter, rearrange, and
17	19		extend the boundary lines and corporate limits of the City of
18	20		Florence in Lauderdale County.
19	21		BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA:
20	22		Section 1. The boundary lines and corporate limits of
21	23		the City of Florence in Lauderdale County are altered and
22	24		rearranged to include within the corporate limits of the
23	25		municipality, in addition to the lands now included, all of
24	26		the following territory:
25	27		Parcel
26	28		Being a parcel of land located in the Southeast 1/4 of
27	29		Section 25, Township 2 South, Range 11 West, and the Northeast
28	30		1/4 of Section 36, Township 2 South, Range 11 West, and the
29	31		South 1/2 of Section 30, Township 2 South, Range 10 West, and
30	32		the North 1/2 of Section 31, Township 2 South, Range 10 West,
31	33		Lauderdale County, Alabama, being further described as:
32	34		Beginning at a point on the southeast corner of parcel
33	35		no. 16-09-30-0-001-009.000, said point being on the north part
34	36		of the 60 foot right-of-way line of Gresham Road and on the
35	37		west right-of-way line of County Road 61; thence south 60 feet
36	38		crossing Gresham Road to a point on the south part of the 60
37	39		foot right-of-way line of Gresham Road; thence westwardly
38		-	along said south right-of-way line (following a curve on the
39		-	west end of Gresham Road) a distance of 6,153 feet to a point
40		-	(said point being on the north right-of-way line of AL Hwy
41		-	133); thence northwest 60 feet along said AL Hwy 133
42		-	right-of-way line crossing Gresham Road to a point on the

	69	+	foot right-of-way line of Gresham Road; thence westwardly
	70	+	along said south right-of-way line (following a curve on the
	71	+	west end of Gresham Road) a distance of 6,153 feet to a point
	72	+	(said point being on the north right-of-way line of AL Hwy
	73	+	133); thence northwest 60 feet along said AL Hwy 133
72	74		right-of-way line crossing Gresham Road to a point on the
73	75		north part of the 60 foot right-of-way line of Gresham Road;
74	76		thence north and eastwardly along said right-of-way line
75	77		(following a curve on the west end of Gresham Road) a distance
76	78		of 6,233 feet to the point of beginning.
77	79		Said parcel to convey a 60 foot wide right-of-way along
78	80		Gresham Road from AL Hwy 133 going east to County Road 61.
79	81		Section 2. In accordance with Section 11-42-6 of the
80	82		Code of Alabama 1975, a map showing the proposed territory to
81	83		be altered, rearranged, and extended from the City of Florence
82	84		is on file and open to public inspection in the office of the
83	85		Judge of Probate in Lauderdale County, Alabama.
84	86		Section 3. This act shall become effective on October
85	87		1, 2025.
