27	26		BASKETBALL TEAM FOR WINNING THE 2025 ALABAMA HIGH SCHOOL
28	27		ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION CLASS 4A GIRLS BASKETBALL STATE
29	28		CHAMPIONSHIP.
30	29		WHEREAS, highest congratulations are herein proudly
31	30		presented to the 2024-2025 Trinity Presbyterian Varsity
32	31		Girls Basketball Team for winning the Alabama High School
33	32		Athletic Association (AHSAA) Class 4A Girls Basketball State
34	33		Championship; and
35	34		WHEREAS, the Wildcats demonstrated dedication,
36	35		perseverance, leadership, and hard work when they
37	36		victoriously captured their first state championship at the
38	37		Class 4A level, having won the 2023 and 2024 championship
39	38		titles at the Class 3A level; and
40	39		WHEREAS, the Wildcats went on a 34-0 run and held
41	40		Good Hope scoreless until the third quarter; they dominated
42	41		their opponent with a final score of 67-27; Seniors and
43	42		MVPs, Francie Morris (2025) posted a double-double for 20
44	43		points and 10 rebounds; Maddie Smith (2024) tallied 12
45	44		points and dished out multiple assists; and Mya Moskowitz
46	45		(2023) added 16 points, including four three-pointers; these
47	46		champions were not only examples of individual excellence
48	47		but were also a celebration of teamwork and strategic

81	80		Presbyterian Varsity Girls Basketball Team are Lilly Smith,
82	81		Francie Morris, Mya Moskowitz, Lizzie Causey, Maddie Smith,
83	82		Emma Rose Meldrum, Ellie Causey, Kaitlynne Keller, Emory
84	83		Causey, Rebi McLemore, Marley Sharpless, Rissie Price,
85	84		Morgan French, Sally Ann Lumpkin, and Cate Chapman; Head
86	85		Coach Blake Smith provided superb leadership and encouraged
87	86		the team to be a light and have oneness and love for each
88	87		other; this goal was achieved with the guidance of Assistant
89	88		Coaches, Megan Smith and Clinton Adams, and Trainer, Michael
90	89		Figueroa; now therefore,
91	90		BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA, BOTH
92	91		HOUSES THEREOF CONCURRING, That the 2024-2025 Trinity
93	92		Presbyterian Varsity Girls Basketball Team is highly
94	93		commended and congratulated for winning their first AHSAA
95	94		Class 4A Girls Basketball State Championship and earning
96	95		their third consecutive state championship title, and this
97	96		resolution is offered to them as evidence of our high regard
98	97		for their hard work and dedication to each other and to
99	98		their sport.
100	99		BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That we wish great success in
101	100		all future endeavors to graduating seniors, Sally Ann
102	101		Lumpkin, Francie Morris, Mya Moskowitz, and Maddie Smith.
