2726 BASKETBALL TEAM FOR WINNING THE 2025 ALABAMA HIGH SCHOOL

2928 CHAMPIONSHIP.
3029 WHEREAS, highest congratulations are herein proudly
3130 presented to the 2024-2025 Trinity Presbyterian Varsity
3231 Girls Basketball Team for winning the Alabama High School
3332 Athletic Association (AHSAA) Class 4A Girls Basketball State
3433 Championship; and
3534 WHEREAS, the Wildcats demonstrated dedication,
3635 perseverance, leadership, and hard work when they
3736 victoriously captured their first state championship at the
3837 Class 4A level, having won the 2023 and 2024 championship
3938 titles at the Class 3A level; and
4039 WHEREAS, the Wildcats went on a 34-0 run and held
4140 Good Hope scoreless until the third quarter; they dominated
4241 their opponent with a final score of 67-27; Seniors and
4342 MVPs, Francie Morris (2025) posted a double-double for 20
4443 points and 10 rebounds; Maddie Smith (2024) tallied 12
4544 points and dished out multiple assists; and Mya Moskowitz
4645 (2023) added 16 points, including four three-pointers; these
4746 champions were not only examples of individual excellence
4847 but were also a celebration of teamwork and strategic
4948 execution; and

9190 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA, BOTH
9291 HOUSES THEREOF CONCURRING, That the 2024-2025 Trinity
9392 Presbyterian Varsity Girls Basketball Team is highly
9493 commended and congratulated for winning their first AHSAA
9594 Class 4A Girls Basketball State Championship and earning
9695 their third consecutive state championship title, and this
9796 resolution is offered to them as evidence of our high regard
9897 for their hard work and dedication to each other and to
9998 their sport.
