248 | 247 | | (d)(1) The Director of Pardons and Paroles shall |

249 | 248 | | serve as the chair of the task force. The first meeting of |

250 | 249 | | the task force shall be held at the call of the chair no |
---|
251 | 250 | | later than 30 days after enactment of this resolution. The |
---|
252 | 251 | | task force may then meet at least quarterly to track |
---|
253 | 252 | | progress and conduct business, with the date, time, and |
---|
254 | 253 | | location of the meeting to be designated by the chair or his |
---|
255 | 254 | | or her designee. |
---|
256 | 255 | | (2) The Legislative Services Agency, the Clerk of the |
---|
257 | 256 | | House of Representatives, and the Secretary of the Senate |
---|
258 | 257 | | shall provide administrative and other assistance for the |
---|
259 | 258 | | work of the task force as necessary. |
---|
260 | 259 | | (e)(1) The legislative members of the task force |
---|
261 | 260 | | shall be entitled to their legislative compensation, per |
---|
262 | 261 | | diem, and travel expenses for each day they attend a meeting |
---|
263 | 262 | | of the task force in accordance with Section 49 of the |

264 | 263 | | Constitution of Alabama of 2022. |
