BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS: 23

SECTION 1. Arkansas Code ยง 19-11-802(c)(1), concerning annual 25
statements of qualifications and performance data and restrictions on 26
competitive bidding, is amended to read as follows: 27
(c)(1) The political subdivision shall not use competitive bidding for 28
the procurement of legal, medical, emergency medical, ambulance, financial 29
advisory, architectural, engineering, construction management, and land 30
surveying professional consulting services. 31
