WHEREAS, on December 17, 2022, the Parkers Chapel Trojan Cheer Team won 19
the 1-2A Arkansas Cheerleading Game Day State Championship in Hot Springs, 20
Arkansas; and 21

WHEREAS, the Parkers Chapel Trojan Cheer Team repeated as champions 23
after winning the 1-2A Arkansas Cheerleading Game Day State Championship in 24
2020 and 2021; and 25

WHEREAS, the Parkers Chapel Trojan Cheer Team placed tenth nationally 27
in the National Chee rleaders Association Medium Varsity Game Day High School 28
Competition in Dallas, Texas on January 22, 2023; and 29

WHEREAS, three hundred ten (310) teams from twenty -seven (27) states 31
competed at the National Cheerleaders Association National High School 32
Championship competition; and 33

WHEREAS, the Parkers Chapel School and the community provided the 35
Parkers Chapel Trojan Cheer Team with the support necessary to compete at the 36 HR1017

WHEREAS, Torri Jacobs is the head coach for the Parkers Cha pel Trojan 3
Cheer Team and is assisted by Cara Midyett; and 4

WHEREAS, the Parkers Chapel Trojan Cheer Team members are Abi Forbes, 6
Kaitlyn Brazle, Beaux Riley Cardin, Kinley Moore, Lexi Killingsworth, Alexis 7
Green, Hope Boykin, Gracie Robertson, Katherine Smith, Delaney Mason, Hannah 8
Pridgen, Madison Gill, Emma Dees, Kenlee Honeycutt, Tinsley Barbaree, Karley 9
Koon, and Maycie Kate Taylor, 10

NOW THEREFORE, 12
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY -FOURTH GENERAL 13
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF AR KANSAS: 14

THAT the House of Representatives recognize the Parkers Chapel Trojan 16
Cheer Team for winning the 2022 1 -2A Arkansas Game Day State Championship. 17

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT upon adoption, a copy of this resolution shall be 19
provided to Ms. Torri Jacobs by the Chief Clerk of the House of 20
Representatives. 21
