2826 SECTION 1. DO NOT CODIFY. Legislative findings and intent. 24
2927 (a) The General Assembly finds that: 25
3028 (1) The United States Space Force was established on December 26
3129 20, 2019, and is the sixth branch of the United States Armed Forces and 27
3230 eighth uniformed service of the United States under 10 U.S.C. § 101, as it 28
3331 existed on January 1, 2025; and 29
3432 (2) Arkansas legislation enacted after December 20, 2019, 30
3533 includes the United States Space Force in statutory references to the United 31
3634 States Armed Forces and uniformed services of the United States. 32
3735 (b) The General Assembly intends for this act to: 33
3836 (1) Add the United States Space Force to statutory references to 34
