2423 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS: 21

2625 SECTION 1. Arkansas Code Title 11, Chapter 2, Subchapter 1, is amended 23
2726 to add an additional section to read as follows: 24
2827 11-2-126. Posting of veterans' benefits and services. 25
2928 (a)(1) The Department of Labor and Licensing, in consultation with the 26
3029 Department of Veterans Affairs, shall create and distribute a veterans' 27
3130 benefits and services poster to employers. 28
3231 (2) The poster created under subdivision (a)(1) of this section 29
3332 shall include without limitation the following information: 30
3433 (A) Contact and website information for the Department of 31
3534 Veterans Affairs programs and services; 32
3635 (B) Substance abuse and mental health treatment options; 33
3736 (C) Educational, workforce, and training resources; 34
3837 (D) Tax benefits; 35
3938 (E) The availability of a veteran's designation on a 36 SB497

4241 driver's license or an identification card; 1
4342 (F) Eligibility for unemployment insurance benefits under 2
4443 state and federal law; 3
4544 (G) Legal services; and 4

4847 (b) An employer in the state with fifty (50) or more full -time 7
4948 equivalent employees shall display the poster created under this section in a 8
5049 conspicuous place accessible to employees in the employer's workplace. 9
