288+CODE NOR PUBLISHED SEPARATELY AS SPECIAL, LOCAL AND TEMPORARY LAW. 20
289+ARKANSAS SCHOOL FOR THE BLIND - TRANSFER PROVISION. Upon approval from the 21
290+Chief Fiscal Officer of the State, the Arkansas School for the Blind shall 22
291+transfer appropriation from the Summer Projects line item, in the State 23
292+Operations Appropriation of this Act, to the Regular Salaries, Extra Help, 24
293+Personal Services Matching, Overtime and Maintenance & General Operations 25
294+line items in the State Operations Appropriation of this Act, to compensate 26
295+staff who work during the summer months on summer projects, and to cover 27
296+other expenses of summer project activities. The Summer Projects line item 28
297+may also be used for the annual cost related to the compensation of eligible 29
298+staff for shift differential pay as well as compensation of employees for 30
299+performance of duties assigned as referenced in the Special Allowance Special 31
300+Language Section of this Act. Such additional compensation shall not be 32
301+construed as exceeding the maximum salary authorized for said employees. 33
302+ The provisions of this section shall be in effect only from July 1, 2024 34

309+ADE - ASB/ASD - SUMMER SCHOOL EMPLOYEES. Employees who, in addition to 3
310+working during the regular school term, also work during summer months shall 4
311+be authorized as additional compensation an amount not to exceed 1/12 of 5
312+their annual salary for each month or part thereof worked. Such additional 6
313+compensation shall not be construed as exceeding the maximum salary 7
314+authorized for said employees. Payment of additional compensation shall be 8
