2929 THAT the following is proposed as an amendment to the Constitution of 26

3232 and Senators, if a majority of the electors voting thereon at the election 29
3333 adopt the amendment, the amendment shall become a part of the Constitution of 30

3636 SECTION 1. The purpose of this joint resolution is to amend Arkansas 33
3737 Constitution, Article 5, § 20, to permit the State of Arkansas to be sued as 34
3838 a defendant in state court to enforce constitutional rights or as otherwise 35
3939 provided by law. 36
