22	22	WHEREAS, the National FFA Organization and agricultural education 20
23	23	provide a strong foundation for the youth of America and the future of the 21
24	24	food, fiber, and natural resources systems; and 22

26	26	WHEREAS, the Arkansas Division of the Future Farmers of America 24
27	27	officers and the National FFA Organization officers serve as role models who 25
28	28	inspire and encourage members to achieve premier leadership, personal growth, 26

31	31	WHEREAS, the Arkansas Division of the Future Farmers of America 29
32	32	currently has seventeen thousand five hundred three (17,503) members, with 30
33	33	two hundred seventeen (217) local chapters and three hundred thirty -five 31

36	36	WHEREAS, agricultural education and the National FFA Organization 34
37	37	ensure a steady supply of young professionals to meet growing demand in the 35

55	55	BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY -FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE 15

58	58	THAT the Senate recognize the importance and positive work of the 18
59	59	National FFA Organization, commend the Arkansas Division of the Future 19
60	60	Farmers of America officers and the National FFA Organization officers for 20
61	61	their leadership, and recognize February 15 -22, 2025, as National FFA Week. 21

63	63	BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT upon adoption, a copy of this resolution be 23
64	64	provided to the Arkansas Division of the Future Farmers of America and the 24
