22	22	WHEREAS, CG Roxane LLC is a family -owned and family-operated bottled 20
23	23	water company that has been bottling Crystal Geyser LLC Alpine Spring Water 21
24	24	since its establishment in 1990; and 22

26	26	WHEREAS, Crystal Geyser LLC Alpine Spring Water is the number one (1) 24
27	27	nationally distributed bottled spring water in the United States; and 25

29	29	WHEREAS, CG Roxane LLC's most well -known product is the square -shaped 27
30	30	gallon, which is produced at five (5) of the company's seven (7) spring 28
31	31	sources, including the Norman, Arkansas, spring source; and 29

33	33	WHEREAS, the Norman, Arkansas, CG Roxane LLC plant has been in 31
34	34	operation since 2008; and 32

36	36	WHEREAS, last year, the Norman, Arkansas, CG Roxane LLC plant shipped 34
37	37	one hundred thirty-two million (132,000,000) bottles of spring water and 35
38	38	eight million two hundred thousand (8,200,000) cases of spring water, all 36 SR30

41	41	produced with fifty percent (50%) recyclable polyethylene terephthalate; and 1

43	43	WHEREAS, CG Roxane LLC takes pride in supporting the local communities 3
44	44	where CG Roxane LLC plants are operated by a total of thirty -two (32) local 4
45	45	team members; and 5

47	47	WHEREAS, CG Roxane LLC supports local firefighters and donates to local 7
48	48	college scholarship funds in the communities where its plants are operated; 8

51	51	WHEREAS, CG Roxane LLC strives constantly to improve regarding 11
52	52	sustainability by: 12
53	53	(1) Abiding by its founding principle of bottling spring water 13
54	54	less than one and five -tenths (1.5) miles from the natural spring source, 14
55	55	including offering Arkansas consumers Crystal Geyser Natural Spring Water 15
56	56	from the Ouachita Mountains in Norman, Arkansas; 16
57	57	(2) Since 2019, offering its consumers natural spring water in a 17
58	58	bottle made of fifty percent (50%) recycled polyethylene terephthalate 18
59	59	sourced from its recycling plants in California and Tennesee; 19
60	60	(3) Since January 2025, constructing fully recyclable overwrap 20
61	61	made of fifty percent (50%) recycled material; and 21
62	62	(4) Constantly investing in new equipment to save water during 22
63	63	the production process and never overpumping from the preserved water table 23
64	64	that the Ouachita Mountains offer to the local communities, because the 24
65	65	quality of its spring water is very important to CG Roxane LLC, 25

68	68	BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY -FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE 28

71	71	THAT the Senate celebrate thirty -five (35) years of family -owned and 31
72	72	Arkansas-based CG Roxane LLC and its Crystal Geyser Alpine Spring Water. 32

74	74	BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT upon adoption, a copy of this resolution be 34
75	75	provided to the owners of CG Roxane LLC by the Secretary of the Senate. 35
