SPRINGS JUNIOR ACADEMY EAST TEACHERS AND STUDENTS IN 11 
HONOR OF PROBLEM GAMBLING AWARENESS MONTH. 12

HIGH SCHOOL PREVENTION STAFF AND STUDENT 17 
CLUB MEMBERS AND THE HOT SPRINGS JUNIOR 18 
ACADEMY EAST TEACHERS AND STUDENTS IN 19 
HONOR OF PROBLEM GAMBLING AWARENESS 20 
MONTH. 21

 WHEREAS, gaming and gambling addiction is a growing concern impacting 23 
individuals and families across Arkansas; and 24 
 25 
 WHEREAS, Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders has proclaimed March 2025 as 26 
Problem Gambling Awareness Month to promote education, prevention, and 27 
support for those affected; and 28 
 29 
 WHEREAS, the Hot Springs High School Prevention Staff and Student Club 30 
members and the Hot Springs Junior High Academy EAST teachers and students 31 
have shown outstanding dedication in raising awareness and advocating for 32 
responsible gaming practices; and 33 
 34 
 WHEREAS, these students, teachers, and staff are present today at the 35 
State Capitol to celebrate Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders's proclamation and 36    	SR36

reaffirm their commitment to this important cause, 1

NOW THEREFORE,  3 
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY -FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE 4 
STATE OF ARKANSAS: 5 
 6 
 THAT the Senate recognize and commend these students, teachers, and 7 
staff for their efforts in educating and supporting their community regarding 8 
gaming and gambling addiction awareness. 9 
 10 
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that upon adoption, a copy of this resolution be 11 
presented to the students of Hot Springs World Class High School and Hot 12 
Springs Junior Academy. 13
