OF SJR 13 AS A THIRD PROPOSED 17
CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT. 18

WHEREAS, Section 19(C) of the Joint Rules of the Ninety -Fifth General 20
Assembly provides that a third proposed constitutional amendment shall not be 21
considered or voted upon by the General Assembly until identical resolutions 22
authorizing the consideration of the proposed constitutional amendment have 23
been approved by an affirmative vote of two -thirds (2/3) of the members 24
elected to each house, 25

NOW THEREFORE, 27
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY -FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE 28
STATE OF ARKANSAS: 29

THAT Senator Dotson is authorized to pursue the consideration of SJR 13 31
as a third proposed constitutional amendment for referral to the electors of 32
the state for approval or rejection. 33
