AN ACT

 

amending section 41-1102, Arizona revised statutes; relating to legislative employees.

 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona: Section 1. Section 41-1102, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended to read: START_STATUTE41-1102. Officers and employees; appointment; legislative staff; salaries A. The officers and employees of the senate shall consist of a president, a secretary and such other employees as the senate directs. B. The officers and employees of the house of representatives shall be a speaker, a chief clerk and such other employees as the house directs.  C. Pursuant to subsection a of this section, the president of the senate shall pay legislative employees of the majority and minority caucuses equally for substantially similar work.  D. Pursuant to subsection b of this section, the speaker of the house of representatives shall pay legislative employees of the majority and minority caucuses equally for substantially similar work. END_STATUTE 

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
