6666 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona: Section 1. Appropriations; Maricopa county community college district; Pima county community college district; additional science, technology, engineering and mathematics and workforce programs A. The sum of $10,327,800 is appropriated from the state general fund in fiscal year 2022-2023 to Maricopa county community college district for additional science, technology, engineering and mathematics and workforce programs pursuant to section 15-1464, subsection C, Arizona Revised Statutes. The district shall distribute the monies first to Estrella mountain community college and Glendale community college to develop and expand program offerings in high need health care programs such as nursing and allied health. The district shall distribute any remaining monies to other community colleges in the district to develop and expand programs in the high need workforce areas of health care, technology and manufacturing. B. The sum of $__________ is appropriated from the state general fund in fiscal year 2022-2023 to Pima county community college district for additional science, technology, engineering and mathematics and workforce programs pursuant to section 15-1464, subsection C, Arizona Revised Statutes. The district shall distribute the monies to community colleges in the district to develop and expand programs in the high need workforce areas of health care, technology and manufacturing.
