Arizona empowerment scholarship accounts; qualified students Notwithstanding section 15-2401, paragraph 7, Arizona Revised Statutes, beginning in the 2022-2023 school year, any student who received a grant under the COVID-19 educational recovery benefit program or the open for learning recovery benefit program on or before June 30, 2022 is deemed a qualified student for the purposes of title 15, chapter 19, Arizona Revised Statutes. ~~(EMERGENCY NOT ENACTED)~~ Sec. 2. Emergency This act is an emergency measure that is necessary to preserve the public peace, health or safety and is operative immediately as provided by law.
