7878 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona: Section 1. Appropriations; governor's office on tribal relations; remedial education; San Carlos Apache college; report; fiscal years 2023-2024, 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 A. The sum of $2,500,000 is appropriated from the state general fund in each of fiscal years 2023-2024, 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 to the governor's office on tribal relations established by section 41-2051, Arizona Revised Statutes, for distribution to the San Carlos Apache college for the remedial education of students who: 1. Graduated from a public high school located in this state. 2. Are enrolled in classes conducted at a San Carlos Apache college campus located in this state. B. Before distributing the appropriation made in subsection A of this section, the governor's office on tribal relations must enter into an agreement with the San Carlos Apache college specifying that the college will report and analyze the course completion rate for students who received the remedial education during the 2023-2024, 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 academic years. The San Carlos Apache college shall submit the report not later than ninety days after the conclusion of each of the academic years to the governor, the president of the senate, the speaker of the house of representatives and the secretary of state.
