amending title 41, chapter 7, article 3, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 41-1134; relating to standing committees.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona: Section 1. Title 41, chapter 7, article 3, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 41-1134, to read: START_STATUTE41-1134. Standing committees; unrelated bill subject matters The president of the senate and the speaker of the house of REPRESENTATIVES may not assign a bill to a standing committee whose area of responsibility does not include the same subject matter as the bill. END_STATUTE
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Title 41, chapter 7, article 3, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 41-1134, to read:
START_STATUTE41-1134. Standing committees; unrelated bill subject matters
The president of the senate and the speaker of the house of REPRESENTATIVES may not assign a bill to a standing committee whose area of responsibility does not include the same subject matter as the bill. END_STATUTE
