AN ACT

 

amending Title 1, chapter 5, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 1-503; relating to state documents.

 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona: Section 1. Title 1, chapter 5, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 1-503, to read: START_STATUTE1-503. Government documents; sex identification A document issued by any agency, board, commission or department of this state or a political subdivision of this state that is required by law to indicate an individual's sex may only indicate the individual's sex as either male or female. END_STATUTE 

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1. Title 1, chapter 5, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 1-503, to read:

START_STATUTE1-503. Government documents; sex identification

A document issued by any agency, board, commission or department of this state or a political subdivision of this state that is required by law to indicate an individual's sex may only indicate the individual's sex as either male or female. END_STATUTE
