An Act
amending title 28, chapter 8, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 28-3007; relating to motor vehicle driver licenses.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona: Section 1. Title 28, chapter 8, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 28-3007, to read: START_STATUTE28-3007. Driver license and nonoperating identification license applications; national marrow donor registry preference; definition A. The director shall establish procedures: 1. To allow a person applying for a driver license, permit or nonoperating identification license pursuant to this chapter to indicate during the application process the person's preference to enroll in a national marrow donor registry as a bone marrow or blood stem cell donor. 2. For the release of information contained in the driving record of a person who indicates the person's preference to enroll in a national marrow donor registry if the release is for the purpose of being registered in the national marrow donor registry. B. For the purposes of this section, "national marrow donor registry" means a national registry of unrelated donors for patients who need CELLULAR therapy, including haploidentical and fully matched related DONOR hematopoietic cell transplant, cord blood hematopoietic cell transplant and new cell and gene therapies. Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Title 28, chapter 8, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 28-3007, to read:
