6767 Kory M. Yule passed away on January 7th, 2024 in Phoenix, Arizona, at the age of 42 from occupational cancer. Born in Phoenix, Arizona, on June 12, 1981, Kory graduated from Horizon High School and soon after began his career in fire service. He diligently served more than 22 years with the Scottsdale Fire Department, reaching the level of Fire Captain. Additionally, he led the Scottsdale Honor Guard for many years. Throughout his career as a first responder, Captain Yule showed extraordinary dedication to protecting the public peace and safety of all citizens, and he was proud of his leadership example to the next generation of firefighters. A loving and devoted husband and father, Kory Yule is survived by his wife, Ashley, his children, Hudson and Grace, his bonus daughters, Paisley and Brinley, his older brother, Kevin, his parents, Mark and Mary Beth, and his grandparents, Farrel and Liz Rasner. He will long be remembered for his selfless dedication and zest for life and for making lifelong memories with his family and many friends. Therefore Be it resolved by the House of Representatives of the State of Arizona: That the Members of the House of Representatives regret the passing of Scottsdale Fire Captain Kory M. Yule and extend their deepest sympathies to his family and friends.
