An Act

 

amending title 36, chapter 4, article 2, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 36-425.10; relating to health care institutions.

 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona: Section 1. Title 36, chapter 4, article 2, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 36-425.10, to read: START_STATUTE36-425.10. Hospitals; drug screening; fentanyl; exception A. If a hospital conducts a urine drug screening on a patient to assist in diagnosing the patient's condition, the hospital shall include testing for fentanyl as part of the patient's drug screening. B. Subsection A of this section does not apply to a hospital that does not have the capability or equipment to conduct a rapid urine drug test for the presence of fentanyl.END_STATUTE 

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1. Title 36, chapter 4, article 2, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 36-425.10, to read:

START_STATUTE36-425.10. Hospitals; drug screening; fentanyl; exception
