An Act

 

amending title 16, chapter 4, article 6, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 16-505; relating to conduct of elections.

 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona: Section 1. Title 16, chapter 4, article 6, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 16-505, to read: START_STATUTE16-505. Ballot paper; chain of custody NOTWITHSTANDING any other law, the county board of supervisors, the county recorder and the county officer in charge of elections shall maintain a chain of custody record for ballot paper that begins when the ballot paper is received by the county and continues through the printing process and the voting process of an INDIVIDUAL voter. Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1. Title 16, chapter 4, article 6, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 16-505, to read:

START_STATUTE16-505. Ballot paper; chain of custody
