7878 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona: Section 1. Title 38, chapter 2, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 38-202, to read: START_STATUTE38-202. Public officers; additional qualifications prohibited NOTWITHSTANDING any other law, a person, this state or any political subdivision of this state may not impose on any lawfully elected public officer, including a person who is appointed to an elected public office, any requirements regarding background checks or PSYCHOLOGICAL testing. END_STATUTE
