Public officers; additional qualifications prohibited NOTWITHSTANDING any other law, a person, this state or any political subdivision of this state may not impose on any lawfully elected public officer, including a person who is appointed to an elected public office, any requirements regarding background checks or PSYCHOLOGICAL testing.
