(TEXT OF BILL BEGINS ON NEXT PAGE) House Engrossed appropriation; groundwater recharge facilities; maintenance State of Arizona House of Representatives Fifty-seventh Legislature First Regular Session 2025 HOUSE BILL 2087 House Engrossed appropriation; groundwater recharge facilities; maintenance State of Arizona House of Representatives Fifty-seventh Legislature First Regular Session 2025 HOUSE BILL 2087 AN ACT appropriating monies to the state natural resources board to clean and restore groundwater recharge facilities. (TEXT OF BILL BEGINS ON NEXT PAGE) Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona: Section 1. Appropriation; state natural resource conservation board; artificial groundwater recharge facilities; exemption A. The sum of $250,000 is appropriated from the state general fund in fiscal year 2025-2026 to the state natural resource conservation board to clean and restore artificial groundwater recharge facilities that both: 1. Are located in a groundwater basin that has been designated as a subsequent active management area pursuant to title 45, chapter 2, article 2, Arizona Revised Statutes. 2. Provide flood control benefits. B. The appropriation made in subsection A of this section is exempt from the provisions of section 35-190, Arizona Revised Statutes, relating to lapsing of appropriations.
