AN ACT

 

appropriating monies to the state natural resources board to clean and restore groundwater recharge facilities.

 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona: Section 1. Appropriation; state natural resource conservation board; artificial groundwater recharge facilities; exemption A. The sum of $250,000 is appropriated from the state general fund in fiscal year 2025-2026 to the state natural resource conservation board to clean and restore artificial groundwater recharge facilities that both: 1. Are located in a groundwater basin that has been designated as a subsequent active management area pursuant to title 45, chapter 2, article 2, Arizona Revised Statutes. 2. Provide flood control benefits. B. The appropriation made in subsection A of this section is exempt from the provisions of section 35-190, Arizona Revised Statutes, relating to lapsing of appropriations. 

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1. Appropriation; state natural resource conservation board; artificial groundwater recharge facilities; exemption

A. The sum of $250,000 is appropriated from the state general fund in fiscal year 2025-2026 to the state natural resource conservation board to clean and restore artificial groundwater recharge facilities that both:

B. The appropriation made in subsection A of this section is exempt from the provisions of section 35-190, Arizona Revised Statutes, relating to lapsing of appropriations.
