AN ACT

 

providing for a voter registration database intercounty status pilot program.

 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona: Section 1. Voter registration database; intercounty status check pilot program; report; delayed repeal A. The secretary of state in consultation and conjunction with a county with a population of less than two hundred fifty thousand persons shall develop a pilot program for a county to allow its voting location election board members to have read-only access to the statewide voter registration database for the purpose of determining the county of residence and voter registration status of a potential voter. B. On or before March 31, 2027, the secretary of state shall prepare a report on the activities and results of the pilot program prescribed by this section and shall submit the report to the president of the senate, the speaker of the house of representatives and the governor and shall make the report publicly available on the secretary of state's website. C. This section is repealed from and after December 31, 2026.
