8080 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona: Section 1. Title 36, chapter 21.1, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 36-2220.01, to read: START_STATUTE36-2220.01. Private ambulance services; information on calls; public availability A. A privately owned ambulance service shall provide the following information to the department in a department-approved format, as applicable: 1. The types of calls received, whether Advanced life support, basic life support or interfacility transfer, and the following information for each call: (a) Dispatch time. (b) On-scene time. (c) Hospital arrival time. (d) Hospital release time. 2. Reports provided when an ambulance service has only one ambulance available in a service area, including the time, date and duration. 3. Reports provided when an ambulance service does not have an ambulance available in a service area, including the time, date and duration. 4. The date and time the ambulance service refused to provide back-up assistance to another certificate of necessity holder. 5. The date and time the ambulance service refused to provide mutual aid to another certificate of necessity holder. 6. the details of any complaint received from individuals. 7. The details of any complaint received from health care facilities. 8. The details of any complaint received from hospitals. B. The department shall make the information received pursuant to subsection A of this section available to the public on request, except that the department shall redact any personally identifying information. The department shall post the information received pursuant to subsection a of this section, as redacted, on the department's public website. END_STATUTE
