proposing an amendment to the Constitution of Arizona; amending article II, section 35, Constitution of Arizona; relating to declaration of rights.

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives of the State of Arizona, the Senate concurring: 1.1. Article II, section 35, Constitution of Arizona, is proposed to be amended as follows if approved by the voters and on proclamation of the Governor: START_STATUTE35. Actions by illegal aliens prohibited A person who is present in this state in violation of any federal immigration law related to improper entry by an alien shall not be awarded punitive damages in any action in any court in this state. END_STATUTE 2.2. The Secretary of State shall submit this proposition to the voters at the next general election as provided by article XXI, Constitution of Arizona.
