Title 9, chapter 2, article 3, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 9-256, to read: START_STATUTE9-256. Towns; advertising; publishing; printing; official website a. Notwithstanding any other law, A town shall satisfy any statutory requirement for advertising, publishing or printing by placing the advertising, publishing or printing on the official website of the town. b. A town that posts public notices on the official website of the town shall include a public notices link at the top of the home page of the website of the town that links to all statutorily required advertising, publishing or printing, listed by category. END_STATUTE Sec. 2. Title 9, chapter 2, article 4, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 9-277, to read: START_STATUTE9-277. Notwithstanding any other law, A city shall satisfy any statutory requirement for advertising, publishing or printing by placing the advertising, publishing or printing on the official website of the city. b. A city that posts public notices on the official website of the city shall include a public notices link at the top of the home page of the website of the city that links to all statutorily required advertising, publishing or printing, listed by category. c. This section does not apply to publication of a notice of a proposed charter required by section 9-282. END_STATUTE Sec. 4. Title 11, chapter 2, article 2, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 11-225, to read: START_STATUTE11-225. Counties; advertising; publishing; printing; official website a. Notwithstanding any other law, A county shall satisfy any statutory requirement for advertising, publishing or printing by placing the advertising, publishing or printing on the official website of the county. b. A county that posts public notices on the official website of the county shall include a public notices link at the top of the home page of the website of the county that links to all statutorily required advertising, publishing or printing, listed by category. END_STATUTE Sec. 5. Repeal Section 11-255, Arizona Revised Statutes, is repealed. Sec. 6. Conforming legislation The legislative council staff shall prepare proposed legislation conforming the Arizona Revised Statutes to the provisions of this act for consideration in the fifty-seventh legislature, second regular session. |

| 78 | + | Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona: Section 1. Section 41-1101, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended to read: START_STATUTE41-1101. Time of assembly; organization; oaths A. The legislature shall assemble at the seat of government at twelve o'clock noon 1:00 p.m. on the second Monday of January each year. B. At the hour of assemblage of the first regular session next after the general election the member of the senate holding seniority in age shall take the chair, call the senate to order, appoint a temporary secretary, and direct the secretary to call the list of senators from the several counties, who shall present their certificates of election and take the oath of office. The senate may thereupon, if a quorum is present, proceed to elect its officers. The house of representatives shall likewise proceed with its organization. The oath taken by the members shall be entered upon the journals of the respective houses. C. The presiding officer of each house may administer the oath of office to members, officers and employees of the respective houses. END_STATUTE |
