Notwithstanding any other law, A city or town or an independent contractor of a city or TOWN in this state shall comply with all federal laws, rules, regulations or orders that relate to immigration and deportation, and shall cooperate with any of the following federal agencies: 1. The United States Department of Homeland Security. 2. The United states Customs and Border Protection. 3. The United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement. B. A CONTRACT BETWEEN An independent CONTRACTOR AND A CITY OR TOWN IN THIS STATE SHALL CONTAIN A PROVISION THAT IF THE independent CONTRACTOR VIOLATES THIS SECTION, THE independent CONTRACT IS VOID. C. The United States Department of Homeland Security. 2. The United states Customs and Border Protection. 3. The United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement. B. A CONTRACT BETWEEN An independent CONTRACTOR AND THIS STATE OR A state agency SHALL CONTAIN A PROVISION THAT IF THE independent CONTRACTOR VIOLATES THIS SECTION, THE CONTRACT IS VOID. C.
