AN ACT
amending title 40, chapter 2, article 1, arizona revised statutes, by adding section 40-207; relating to public service corporations.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona: Section 1. Title 40, chapter 2, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 40-207, to read: START_STATUTE40-207. Electric generation plant; modifications A. During the integrated resource planning process, The commission shall require a public service corporation to ensure that any changes to maintain or improve an electric power grid Are capable of producing enough electricity to provide safe, adequate and reliable service THROUGHOUT the year. B. On the retirement of an electric generation plant, the commission shall ensure that a replacement electric generation plant is capable of providing an equal or more reliable electric generation that ensures safe and adequate service. Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
